April is still working on cpr and stop the bleed trainings, call for donations went out and we’ve received some, we’re still looking for a lawyer. We can’t do anything with grants until 501(c)(3) is filed. Reworded the discord rules, raffle page is being worked on. Insurance wants $5600/yr for liability insurance. Sami provided information on the RSO training in the board chat and is working on that, he’s talked to Matt from a law firm about doing a talk. Sami and April are still working on he Gay Chamber of Commerce. Sami has created most of the CCW handout material but isn’t complete yet. Buying airsoft guns is still on his todo list. Added to Kitty and/or April’s todo list to reach out to Airsoft.
>Blinkdog is interested in the secretary role, but is out of town and doesn’t have access to his resume. Kitty is finishing the code of conduct stuff. >Cayce needs to finish the discord training >Dane is going to get with April to move our bank over. Our IRS filing has been submitted and we should hear back in 1-4 weeks. Dane is holding off on our local form until we have an official secretary. Once we have a new account we will need to itemize our statements from the old one to ensure we have them. Dane will look up if volunteer time can be deducated from taxes.

- 1:38 pm – April ordered a test shirt from Fourth Wall for our range officers/mentors – We will see how it looks when it arrives and the board will vote on that when we get it.,
- 1:40 pm – April is looking into a grant writer to look into getting grants for us,
- 1:41 pm – April confirmed we have $2200 in the bank account,
- 1:45pm – We’re changing merch store from Teepublic, we’re looking into Fourth Wall as an option ($10/shirt), the other is Spreadshirt ($7-10/shirt) – Both sites have cheap samples for self ordering. Fourthwall has minimal colors but has extra large sizes and good bumper stickers. April will send Cayce the login credentials for Fourth Wall. The board voted to provisionally start a test period using Fourth Wall of three months.,
2:05 – Cayce gave a primer on media training. Talking points: Community, building a space for us in a place that’s not traditionally one for queer people, the teaching & training we do with life saving and instilling skills for how to handle crises. The board will meet back at IHOP tomorrow 8/4 at 10am. 2:11 – Cayce changed job title to ‘Director of Community Administration’ – Board voted yes. 2:13 – Deadline set for finishing the bylaws: 10/31 2:17 – Ended meeting
